The Salamanca Statement

The Salamanca Statement was created in 1994 for the United Nations in response to the disparity between Human Rights and the right to education, and the experiences of students with special educational needs. The Statement promotes a more inclusive approach to education and includes recommendations that support this approach. Check out the statement here.
